Driftless Edit began as a sweet little boutique in the heart of small town Lansing, Iowa, a northeast Iowa river town known for its "Iowa nice" embrace and scenery for miles. In May 2025, a sister boutique opened just 15 minutes away in the owner's hometown of Waukon.
Both communities offer small-town charm and bustling main streets characterized by shops of all kinds, worthy of a day-trip any time of year - plus, the Driftless Area we call home offers both recreation and retreat.
Between the scenic bluffs, the Iowa River meets the Mighty Mississippi, where kayaking, boating, nature hikes, and much more await. Our unique corner of the state is a true destination.
Elisha Marti, owner of Driftless Edit, is also a professional photographer with 18+ years experience in family, newborn, toddler, and senior photography. Northeast Iowa is a photographer’s playground with beauty from every perspective. Outdoor sessions are preferred, but indoor sessions for newborns and during cold-weather months are offered.
